The internal dimensions of the hangar itself are 23.7m wide by 30m deep and can be accessed from Airside via two separate entries. The main entry (approx. 4.7m high x 22m wide) features a revolutionary, vertical-tilt, automatic opening door. The side entrance is approximately 9m wide by 6m high and is perfect for gaining access to aircraft at the back of the hangar without the need to manoeuvre other aircraft out of its way.

Short-term storage sites


Storage SitesShort-term storage sites are available along Boundary Rd and Ashover Rd on the Western side of the airport. Sites are of varying sizes upwards of 1000 square metres and in some circumstances can be tailored to suit an individuals needs. Hangar 6


Hangar 6Hangar 6 is in the perfect position to accommodate an aircraft maintenance or flight school organisation. The Airside doors are capable of accommodating aircraft with a tail height up to 10m. The hangar is approximately 2400 square meters in size with separate lunch-room, sheet metal workshop area, storage rooms and offices.

Hangar 657


Hangar 657 from LandsideThis hangar is ideal for a small manufacturing business which also requires Airside access. The hangar is 480 square metres in size and contains an internal office plus 270 square meters on Landside for access from Rockwell Drive.
