Media Release - Master Plan 2011-31 Approved (24/05/12) 

Archerfield Airport will continue to develop into a world-class aviation facility following Federal approval of the airport’s Master Plan 2011-31.

The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, the Hon Anthony Albanese MP, today approved the 20-year plan – and in doing so, endorsed a strong future for aviation at Archerfield.

The Master Plan makes provision for the realignment of the grass runways, moving them away from low lying, flood-prone areas and improving the airport’s capability to provide world-class training facilities. These works.......
